Victoria Woodhull
1866 -- 1927
Victoria Woodhull was an American journalist who campaigned for social reform and equal rights for African Americans. As a supporter of free love, however, she was also very controversial. Even as a young woman, she had to work as a clairvoyant in a brothel, where she learned how to elicit lucrative insider tips from hypnotised millionaires, which she then used to make a fortune on the stock market herself. In 1870, she and her sisters opened the first female-run brokerage office on Wall Street, while at the same time she became the editor of a newspaper, became involved in women's issues, translated the Communist Manifesto and eventually became the first woman to run for the US presidency. Throughout her life, she lived large and beyond her means.
lyrics
She got her infos from this millionaires
Who set in daze at the brothel chairs
Investment secrets for the market fair
Allin menswear and with short hair
She made a fortune at the stock exchange
But being rich it felt a bit strange
She knew society should rearrange
Equality and humanity
VICTORIA , VICTORIA
The countries sick and that was evident
Scam and injustice in the government
And so she tried tor un for president
All in menswear and with short hair
