Sarah Winchester
1840 - 1922
Sarah Winchester was the wealthy widow of an arms manufacturer who died at an early age. Throughout her life, she worried that the spirits of the dead, who had been killed by her husband's weapons, would take revenge on her. She therefore invested her entire inheritance in building a labyrinthine castle complex to hide in. The castle had no less than 160 rooms, as well as numerous architectural caprices, such as secret passages, simultaneously ascending and descending staircases and doors behind which abysses were hidden. But although she slept in a different room every night, she never got rid of the fear.

SARAH WINCHESTER
Windows and doors, stairways and floors
Never get bored, she always wanted more
She felt cursed, can’t get worse
Winchester rifles blew out some lives
Aint no ghost , gonna get her
Slowly round the corner creeps the family daughter
She shouldn’t but she ought to, her shadows fading in the patterns
