Johnny Appleseed
1774 -- 1847
According to legend, Appleseed roamed North America barefoot and with a cooking pot for a hat. Everywhere he went, he planted apple seeds and over the years he planted apple orchards all over the country. He did this mainly because cider was the easiest alcohol to produce at the time. The Americans thanked him, Appleseed is now revered as a kind of eco-pioneer, and is considered one of the most popular figures in American folklore.
lyrics
Johnny Appleseed
Johnny - Walking through the country With the pockets full of seeds
Johnny - Having no direction And no shoes on his feet
Johnny - Sleeping in corners, living in the streets
Johnny - Is happy for no reason Has everything he needs
A trace of appletrees is following his steps
they are growing everywhere he gets ( He never looks back) ,
A handful here and a handful there , trees are growing everywhere
