about

Emily Dickinson
1830 --1886
The reclusive Emily Dickinson liked to wear white dresses, but only very rarely left her room. She wrote over 2000 poems, often untitled and in unconventional rhythms, of which only 7 were published during her lifetime. Although she avoided people, avoided all conversation and had seen practically nothing of the world apart from her flat, she was able, thanks to a special power of imagination, to transform the small and manageable world in which she lived into a large one.

lyrics

Emily dickinson

Emily - whats on your mind
Emily why do you hide
All dressed in white- And your skin so.pale
Writing on your poems almost every day

Emily - she never greets
stays in her bed for weeks
Never happy - always sad
Writing all those letters - she never sends
